Our Day started early, at 4:45 actually when Tommy woke up sick. It turns out that it wasn't car sickness, it was a little bug. We called the pediatrician and got instructions and set out on our day.
We left Joe and Carol's around ? and headed to SD. When we got to Sioux Falls we stopped at a Toys R Us to let the kids walk around a little and to let Tommy look to see if there was anything he wanted to spend his gift card on. He seemed to be feeling a little better at this point. While we were there we got a call from Bob saying that he was there and if we wanted to we could meet up with him and drive to Parkston together. We met at the mall and had some lunch, Tommy even felt well enough to eat some jello. We left from there to head to Parkston, Sophie rode the rest of the way with Bob, which was very exciting for her!
When we got to Parkston we went strait to see Grandpa for a little bit. Sophie and Tommy were a little afraid of the old people and didn't want to go in, but we finally convinced them that it was ok.
We visited with Grandpa for a while and then Bob took us out to the farm to see the house. This was a little sad, because the people that are living there have not kept it up at all and it is in a very sad state. After this we drove by the corn and soy beans to see how they look, and then went to eat dinner. Tommy was finally feeling better, enough so that he ate a grilled cheese sandwich and french fries for dinner! So it was a quick bug.
After dinner we went to the hotel to clean up a little and then we went back to see Grandpa again for a little while before we turned in for the night.
