School Started...

...a few weeks ago, I'm behind, again. The kids are having a great time being in 8th, 6th and 2nd grades. 

Sophie

Sophie has also had a very exciting year. She tried out for and made the hip hop dance crew at her dance studio. They went to several conventions and competitions and she had a great time! At this point her life is pretty much about friends and dance. Although, she also ran for student council office and won. She was able to have a part in the 5th grade graduation ceremony because of this.

Jake

Jake has grown a lot in the past year, he has lost several teeth, changed sports and grown a few inches. He graduated from 1st grade and is looking forward to starting 2nd soon.

Tommy

Here are a few pictures of Tommy. He has continued to play and love Lacrosse. He has finished 7th grade and will soon rule the school as an 8th grader. He was chosen to be a PAL for 8th grade, which means he will take a class to learn to mentor the younger students.  He is excited to see what this new role will be like.

Catching up...

Boy, do I have a lot of catching up to do. I just let all of this get away from me over the past year.

The kids have grown up so much. I guess I will start by sharing a few pictures of the kids and highlighting a few things that have happened with them.

Colorado

Cochlear Kids Camp

The kids had a blast this year at camp in Estes Park, Colorado. They did all kinds of fun stuff and I had a great time taking pictures of them doing fun stuff.



We saw a bear in a tree, talk about wildlife!

Sophie performed in three different dances during the big show this year. She was so excited and did a great job!

May 2011

In May we stayed busy, I only have a couple of photos here, but took many more. This month we continued Lacrosse and Sophie and Jake had field day at school among other things...

March 2011

In March we had lots of fun. Tommy and Jake continued their sports and Sophie celebrated her big day. We also went to Austin for Spring Break and had a super time!

Our hawk named Jack. He lives in our neighborhood and today we found him sitting in a neighbors front yard eating his catch. I'm sure that squirrel never knew what hit him...

POTD 2-27-11

Tommy is really getting the hang of Lacrosse. Here he is playing in his second game. He started at Midfield and then moved to Defense. He loves it!
