Race Time and Boo at the Zoo

This weekend Bill had the opportunity to go with his dad to the race track. They went on Saturday and spent the day as guest of MRO (Motor Racing Outreach - a ministry that reaches out to all affiliated with race weekend from drivers and their families,by running a daycare type area during the race for little ones to be occupied, to they guy who works trackside, by holding chapel services on race weekends. Bill and Bob were given more than VIP passes, not only were they able to go on pit row behind the wall, but were actually able to cross the wall before the race and stand on the track and in the pits up until after the National Anthem was played. How cool is that!

While they were having fun doing that, the kids and I went to Tyler to visit my sister and family. We had fun going to the zoo on Saturday where the kids got candy around every turn and then got to run out energy in bounce houses and walking around the zoo seeing the animals. Then on Sunday we stopped at Canton on the way home and walked around some more. I got some fun ideas for Christmas, now we'll see if I have time to pull anything off.
