It's Been a While...and Birthday Fun

Well, lets see, we have been a very busy family for the last few weeks. After our vacation to San Antonio, the kids and I spent a few more days at home and at my Mom's house. The next two weeks the kids all went to "Summer Camp" at the daycare and seemed to have a great time seeing old friends and going on field trips.

Last Friday my mom had knee surgery so over the weekend we stayed with her to take care of her. She did very well in surgery and did not feel too much until the middle of the night on Saturday when the numbness finally wore off. Sunday she was in a lot of pain, but today she is doing much better. She is now able to get around using only one crutch and will be able to drive again as soon as she gets the sign off from the physical therapist.

This week Sophie stayed with my sister who is at my mom's house helping out for the week.

Yesterday Tommy celebrated his 10th birthday, can yo believe he is already 10, yikes! We had a little party with 1/2 of our family last night. He was very excited to get Star Wars toys.

Next week Tommy will spend the week with my sister and Sophie will spend the week with her Grandma Tiede. They are both very excited to get to have this time with family! And Bill and I will feel very strange having 1 child in the house!
