Better late than never I guess. We had a very fun Independence Day this year. It actually started on the 3rd when we started a yearly tradition up again after two years off. We went to Addison for Kaboom town with some family friends, the Thompsons (both Russell and Sheri, and Kathy and Pete) ,who just had their first baby/grandbaby this spring, Columbes, who have three boys each a little younger than our three kids, and Mike and Julie. Kathy and Pete reserved a hotel suite for our group and we all got their early, before traffic started, and ate dinner, played games and just hung out until it was time to go watch the fire works. The kids had a great time with their friends, Sophie was very excited to hold Sierra, and Jake loved watching the old WWII airplanes flying over before it got dark. When it did get dark, we all headed outside where we saw a great fireworks show! We had a great time! Here are a few pictures...
