Today Sophie's gymnastics group had a show for the parents and family. She did great! She has improved so much since she started a few months ago. There were four groups of girls that changed from event to event. Sophie started out on the uneven bars where she did a little routine. Then she was on to the floor where she went through some basics such as a back bend or bridge as she calls it. Next she went to the vault where she did several things, one of which was jumping on some stacked mats into a split and then back down again. And finally she went to the balance beam where she again did a little routine of some basic moves.
At the end of the show she got a certificate and blue ribbon for all of her hard work. She had so much fun and enjoyed having here Grandma and Grandpa there to watch.
