History Fair

Tommy decided to enter the History Fair again this year. The topic was to report about someone who was/is an innovator. Tommy chose Dr. James C. Marsters who, along with two other men, invented the TTY device for deaf communication. This is a machine that deaf people can use to type messages to each other over a phone line. Now this type of communication device is not used as much because of the Internet, but int he late 60's when it was invented, it allowed people to communicate long distance without having to wait for letters.

Tommy won first place for his presentation!
