Five Tiedes

Happy 2009!

This year started out with a bang (a pop really) as we spent the evening at home, baking cookies, watching the ball drop at 11pm and then shooting off confetti and breaking open our crackers at midnight. The kids had fun and so did we.

On Saturday we went to Colleyville to meet Kyle and his family, Ashley and her family, Janiece (my half sister) and my Dad. Unfortunately my as my Dad was driving up from Houston he got a flat tire just south of Waco that turned into a nightmare when the spare wouldn't release. He never made it, but we had fun and now we have an excuse to get together again when we reschedule.

There is a saying that in Texas if you don't like the weather today, just wait until tomorrow. That is what it has been like this week for sure. We went from 80 on Saturday to this today. BURRRR!
