Last week was spring break for Tommy and Sophie. We didn't plan anything big, just played at home a lot and went on some little adventures throughout the week. On Tuesday we went to IKEA to eat lunch in the cafeteria, and then play for a while. The kids love to play in the play area there while I walk around and see what's new.
On Wednesday we took a little trip over to Ft. Worth to the zoo. My mom took a day of vacation and came with us and we met Lisa and Jude. We were there all day and had a beautiful day. The temperature was in the upper 70's. We had a great time seeing all the animals and just enjoying a day outside.
On Friday we went out to lunch a Freebirds. If you have one close and have never eaten there I recommend it! Freebirds is one of our family favorites!
All in all we had a pretty good week away from school. The kids were looking forward to Monday though, just to get back and see their friends again.
