We went to the State Fair on Wednesday, October 4th. We took advantage of can food day again this year. That is where you bring 3 cans of food and get in for $1.00.
This year we had the great honor of having Sara come with us. She was a great help for me and Bill and the kids really loved having her with us. They walked hand in hand with her all day!
The kids had fun going through the "Little Hands on the Farm" exhibit again this year. This was Jake's first time to go through and he loved it. They look forward to this every year!
Sophie had a special treat this year. She was interviewed by a Chanel 42, Austin news crew. They told us that they interview may or may not be shown, but if it was they would post it on their web site. You can see it here http://keyetv.com/video/?id=9464@keye.dayport.com&cid=5

Last, but certainly not least, we all enjoyed the yummy fair food, especially Jake, who loves all food!
