Today was Pre-Op

As we prepare for Jake's surgery we have had to go to several doctors and have some tests run including meeting with a doctor who specializes in genetics, undergoing an MRI, and having more indepth hearing tests.

Today we went to see Dr. Peters to go over what will happen on Thursday and sign the release for the study that Jake will be involved in.

Then we went to register him at the Children's area of the hospital where he will be staying overnight. There he had to be weighted, measured and have blood drawn.

It was a long 3 hours, but we are now another step closer to hearing!
